ArcGIS Enterprise
It is a server-side software that allows you to work with spatial databases, expose them though REST APIs, host geo-processing tools an also expose them though REST APIs and much more. It's mainly made up of four other Esri technologies.

Introduction
It has four components:
- ArcGIS Server: to power everything behind the hood.
- Portal for ArcGIS: the geographic CMS
- ArcGIS Data Store: to store the data within the system
- ArcGIS Web Adaptor: for security an enable to web clients
ArcGIS for Server offers a variety of product editions that are distinguished by functionality and capacity, these are: Basic, Standard and Advanced (learn more).
